Shade Tree employs OSHA 1910.269 certified tree workers all of whom have been through the company’s initial job orientation program. Our employee’s continually receive training that emphasizes safety, work methodology, work quality, and production.
Management training for supervisors and managers is conducted through the company’s internal “Management Orientation Program” which is supplemented with professional training sources including skills in areas of leadership, communication, team building, critical thinking, discipline & counseling, accident investigation, and continuous improvement. Additionally, all supervisors and managers are required to possess the Certified Arborist certification.
Shade Tree conducts a strict and comprehensive substance and alcohol abuse policy and testing program to assure that employees report to work in condition to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
